There is no formal reference in the literature for recently synthesised materials like 4C-PVP, but it has seen some non-sanctioned use as a recreational chemical or designer drug. Whilst we do not condone this use, it can nevertheless produce useful information.

The chemical generally acts as a stimulant, as most cathinones do. Some users report a physical or cognitive euphoria, often varying as much form individual to individual as it does with dose. As the substances pharmacology and toxicology is still largely unknown, there is no establshed safe dose. It can be insufflated, but many users report an unpleasant sensation when this is attempted.
